Yesterday was an extraordinary day for the ROTC members in Cheyenne as they received a unique opportunity to explore various emergency response fields. The Cheyenne Police Department, Wyoming Highway Patrol, @UCHealthLifeLine, and Cheyenne Fire Fighters came together to provide a hands-on experience like no other.
The day was packed with action and learning, starting with intense SWAT exercises that demonstrated the precision and skill required in high-stakes situations. ROTC members also had the chance to rappel down the Tower, gaining a new perspective and appreciation for the bravery of our firefighters.
One of the highlights was meeting Finley, the beloved canine member of the team, whose presence added a touch of warmth to the day’s events.
This informative day was not just about the thrills; it was a valuable educational experience that gave ROTC members a deeper understanding of the critical roles these departments play in our community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the agencies that made this day possible. Your dedication to nurturing the next generation is truly commendable. https://www.facebook.com/cheyennefirerescue/
