Cheyenne Fire Rescue responds to all EMS calls within the City of Cheyenne. These calls encompass roughly 70% of our responses. Almost 100% of our crews are trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and around 30% of our operations staff are also trained paramedics. All are licensed through the State of Wyoming. Every fire engine and ladder truck has at least one (1) paramedic that provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) services on all emergency medical calls.
There is a wealth of information on EMS prevention, and of course, much cannot be prevented. A few worthy sources for help can be found below. Please feel free to utilize these credible resources for your knowledge and safety.
