Our Wildland 1 crew was shifted from Medicine Bow to Gillette to further assist with fires. BC Titus Norris, Lt. Derek Pollnow, and Engineer Beightol have been working in the field since August 10 across the Medicine Bow and Sierra Madres. With the increased fire activity in the northeast, they were shifted to provide support. Another crew from CFR will head to Gillette on Sunday to relieve this crew and continue the fight.
