On July 27th, members of Cheyenne Fire Rescue’s wildland team were deployed to Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest to assist with resource needs. During this time, the Jack Creek Fire broke out southwest of Saratoga, and CFR Wildland 1 was one of the first crews to arrive on the scene, working to contain the fire.
As multiple deployments continue, our personnel remain dedicated to supporting other communities. We extend our support and encouragement to all those deployed from Laramie County Fire Districts and other departments in Wyoming and Colorado. Our thoughts are with the communities affected by these fires, which can cause devastating damage. However, we are confident that Wyoming’s resilient communities will come together to support each other through this difficult time. Facebook
